FATHER FIGHTS WITH CANCER

My name is Witold and I live in Złoty Potok, Poland with my lovely daughter Zuzanna. In December 2015, it turned out that I developed a malignant tumor, namely ‘cartilaginous myoma’ of the pubic bone and the ischial bone with infiltration to the femur.
A year later, in April 2016, I was operated on, but unfortunately without successful results. They assigned me another operation in June of the same
year, but it was soon canceled. Surgeons in Poland refused to take the risk of possible serious postoperative complications. It was decided to treat me with radiation therapy, however it only halted the progression of the disease, but did not cure me completely.
Three years later, in 2019, the cancer began to develop again. In March 2020, they tried to operate on me in order to, at least partially, excise the tumor. That proved not to be feasible In result, the disease still develops. The tumor presses on the sciatic nerve, bladder and prostate, causing severe pain. Presently I am undergoing protonotherapy in Bronowice Hospital in Poland, however I am hoping to join the innovative therapy that was lately pioneered in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it is very expensive and I cannot afford it
