THOMAS – 25 YEARS AND BRAIN TUMOR DIAGNOSIS
Thomas is a young, energetic 25-year-old who loves life.
At the end of July 2025 , he was diagnosed with a brain tumor – a glioblastoma wildtype, grade IV – which turned his whole world upside down.
Before this nightmare began, Thomas enjoyed every single day with his beloved girlfriend and his loyal dog. He is surrounded by a wide circle of friends who see him as a cheerful, empathetic, and kind person – someone who is always ready to help. At work, he is valued as a respected and supportive colleague.
In August, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor at the 10th Clinical Hospital in Bydgoszcz. Sadly, within just a few days, the tumor recurred. A second and then a third operation were necessary, as the tumor turned out to be an extremely aggressive opponent.
Currently, Thomas is waiting to begin chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The test results of the tumor are not optimistic, but Thomas is determined to fight for every day of his life.
