My name is Adas, I’m 7 years old, I come from Bielsk Podlaski. Like any child at this age I went to school where I have favourite friends and teachers. I also started studying at a music school because I really wanted to learn to play the accordion like my dad.
My problems began in January 2023. I often had a headache, vomiting, and finally I began to see badly in my right eye. My parents made an appointment with a family doctor who immediately referred me to a hospital in Bialystok. There, after preliminary examinations, I was transferred to the Children’s Health Center in Warsaw to the neurosurgery ward. After MRI it turned out that there was a large brain tumor in my head.
On February 6, 2023, a multi-hour surgery to remove the tumor was carried out. I recovered pretty quickly after the surgery. Unfortunately, histopathological examinations brought bad news. The tumor turned out to be malignant. It is a CNS tumor with BCOR alteration, a very rare and aggressive cancer. I was transferred to the oncology ward where I am being treated with chemotherapy, then I will have radiotherapy. I have a long way ahead of me but I will fight because I love my parents and my older brother very much. I want to go back to my home, school and friends. I want to live like any other child. 
We, parents, are asking for prayers for Adam’s health and financial support. This is the beginning of a hard and long fight with an unequal opponent for which we need financial resources. We promise that we will fight for the health and life of our son.
