MARIANNA’S STORY
Marianna at the age of 47 decided to revise her gender according to what she felt as a child. After this decision, her family turned away from her and broke off all contact. Unfortunately, two months after the surgery complications led to stroke. Marianna is now paralyzed, in a wheelchair, can not work and lives from annuity. Although she does not give up, she has rehabilitation and struggles to regain fitness. Marianna also has glaucoma and kidney problems. She lives alone in a little apartment on third floor in a building without elevator and she is in desperate need of support. She needs rehabilitation, treatment and basic necessities of life.
